11:30am – Following the announcement from the government yesterday evening please click here to read the latest school update letter from Mr Floyd. Please contact school through any of the established methods if you have any questions or concerns. All requests regarding home learning should be directed to the class teachers through the contact forms on the designated class pages.

10:15am – Home Learning Update: Updated Home Learning materials have been added to the class pages as we commence the Summer term. These should cover a minimum of 2 weeks, at which point we will add some new material. These are to help and support parents, children and families and there are no expectations. Each family will have their own approach that is right for their child and their family. Mr Floyd’s letter from the 8th April clarified expectations. If you have ANY questions for your child’s class teacher the best way is to use the Contact Form on the class pages. We would love to see pictures of children Home Learning and would also love to add them to our twitter feed @nsceprischool. Please email any pictures to office@nspri.co.uk and we will post them for all of our 200+ followers to see! The BBC have also launched Daily Lessons on their Bitesize Website. Have a look at this too as well as the many other useful weblinks provided in the section below. We are here to help and support you – please get in touch if you need ANYTHING! School is currently open Monday to Thursday for children of Key Workers and Mr Floyd or Mrs Abualzulof are available to be spoken to each morning. Also, all usual communication channels apply.

11am – Free School Meals Update – please read latest letter regarding FSM vouchers for the 4 weeks up until May half term. We have a £60 Co-Op gift card for each child. We do not intend to post these so if it is safe to do so please collect from school at the following times – Today until 3:30pm, Monday 20th April 8:30am to 12pm or Wednesday 22nd April 8:30am to 12pm. If this is not possible we will attempt to personally deliver to homes before the end of next week.

11am – A letter from Mr Floyd to all families can be read here and in the information section of this page.

11am – An addendum to our Child Protection and Safeguarding Policy can be found here and within the policies section of this website. This has been added in light of the ongoing Coronavirus crisis.

9am – We have now received official confirmation from Co-Op the the FSM vouchers will be accepted in the following stores: North Somercotes, Manby, Louth Newmarket, Louth Newbridge Hill and Sutton on Sea. Following the initial confusion we will be reviewing the situation after the initial 4 week roll out. If there are any problems please ask the stores to confirm with Ryan at the North Somercotes Co-Op who has received authorisation from Head Office.

12pm – We understand there may be a problem with the FSM vouchers regarding which Co-Op stores they can be spent in. This is due to school receiving misinformation from Co-Op Head Office. We have contacted Co-Op today and are awaiting a response. We will keep you updated. Please hold on to the vouchers for now. Once Co-Op respond to us we will post a message on here.

3:15pm – Please see Home Learning Update 27/3 for further information regarding Home Learning including when future work will be added and sharing and celebrating work through our Twitter page. Thank you to everyone who has already sent in pictures. Also we have added contact pages to each class page so you can message your child’s class teacher/s. This is intended for positive communication streams only. We have also posted out Co-Op vouchers today for all families eligible for Free School Meals (not universal). Home Learning:

School is currently closed for an indefinite period. All children should have brought home a blank exercise book to complete work at home. There will be no need to return the book to school. Initial work has been provided for a 2 week period and is different for each class and age range. We will update the home learning resources on Monday 20th April after the planned Easter holidays. A number of the tasks may be open-ended to enable more deeper learning or to enable children to study topics that capture their interest more in a greater depth. We will also continue to update the web links to other useful learning websites. Please keep a measured perspective to home learning to enable plenty of quality family time.
